The past couple of weekends, I decided to take a break from travel in sake of my bank account and sanity. Looking back at the semester, it’s gone way too fast. Specific events seem like a lifetime ago, but the plane ride here seems like yesterday. Kim, Melissa, Michela, Stas and I were reminiscing and realized we hadn’t taken a weekend off since before Venice. That’s a lot of traveling. Lately I’ve been exploring Milan, catching up on homework for classes and planning the rest of my semester and summer trips. I’m trying to soak up this experience and Milan as much as I can because I find I love this city and these people more everyday. The apartment is actually falling to pieces. We’ve recently had problems with the washer, the hot water, the light fixtures, the WiFi and now moths. But I will always remember the time I lived in a run-down apartment in the city with fond memories.
